Did you have a good weekend? Let's continue with the Melbourne series! I hope you are enjoying it. During this trip, I bought some rad items, many of them from markets and thrift shops. Big thanks to my lovely friend, Angela from Three Buttons, who pointed me to her favourite haunts. They were excellent suggestions!!
These are some of my buys. I had to exercise a great amount of self control!
I bought quite a few records to add to my collection :)
This is a vintage photo jacket. I love the graphics and text!
These are actually book ends made from bricks. Yes, bricks. Don't ask me how I lugged them home. I love them so much and got to choose from several titles.
As you can see, I obviously have intense feelings towards old things :p
what a lovely haul, I like that they're all filled with nostalgia! I love Melbourne, I'm surprised people actually told you there isn't much to do there.
ReplyDeleteYa, that's me-- sucker for old things. Be it music, knick knacks, furnishings etc. :)
DeleteI always like to bring back thrifted stuff from the country I visited ! The vintage photo jacket is really nice :)
ReplyDeleteWe're alike that way :) I'm not sure what I'll be doing with the photo jacket but I like it so much!
DeleteAll great purchases!! Wow, how did you get it all back home. My favourite is the egg cup!

And this is not all! Haha. I guess it was sheer determination and often practiced packing skills :p
DeleteI'm looking foward to the rest of your Melbs posts...
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm sure there's a lot more than what I experienced. Hope to return :)
