[Guest Post] - Cafes as photographed by Yen

Hi everyone! This is Yen from Vanilla Minuet and The Everyday Life Store. I'm really honoured to be invited by Sandy to write a guest post while she's away for her holidays.

There's an increased in number of cafes in Singapore since 2-3 years ago and I made it a habit to check out these nice cafes with my girlfriends every now and then. In this post I'm going to share with you the photos that I've taken at my 3 favourite cafes in Singapore.

What makes this cafe more special is the really nice knick knack store - The Little Drom Store besides it.

[Taipei] - Street Views

The thing I enjoy about traveling is that simply walking around allows you a glimpse of the way of life of the people. And being in a foreign land, the sights are always fresh and interesting. Here are a few snapshots of Taipei street view.

[Taipei] - Cuteness

I was greeted with lots of cute-ness as I gallivanted the streets of Taipei. They really add cheer to an otherwise dull concrete environment.

[Taipei] - Melange Cafe

I am about to reveal to you one of my greatest find in Taipei-- Melange Cafe. This is place has the BEST waffles I ever tasted and the best looking ones too! Seriously, calorie-counting was the last thing on my mind. IT IS WORTH IT! Set in a cozy interior with warm lightings to make sure you are relaxed as you enjoy your cup of tea and lovely dessert. I’m not telling you how many times I went back to Melange Cafe in my week long stay in Taipei.

[Taipei] - Shop Fronts

Hi lovelies, we’re beginning the first of a series of posts on Taipei today. I’m thrilled about it and hope you will be too. I had so much fun and perhaps you can experience some of it through these words and images.

I saw lots of beautiful shop fronts which were really creative. They revealed the thought and precision that went into the decor. They left me pretty inspired!

New in the Shop - Twinkle

Guess what? My Moustache George was on the front page of Etsy 2 days ago! I was so thrilled. Thanks, heartypat for the news! If you were having problems commenting, it’s because Blogger has been down for the last few days as well. Everything was in read-only mode. I hope they’ve fixed it for good.

Today, I want to introduce you to Twinkle who’s newly listed in the shop! Twinkle is a true-blue bohemian. And yes, she wears a floral shower cap! See more of Twinkle over here.

The Taipei series will be coming right up on Monday :)
