Relive the years - Vintage Children's book

How was your weekend? I was a bit under the weather. Maybe it’s because I have an assignment due this week and it has caused me major lack of sleep. Plus, I’m confronted with the fact that my wedding is approaching and I have yet to do much. See, I might have blogged a wedding series but that doesn’t mean that I’ve done everything I blogged about (yeah, sneaky, I know). My throat’s feeling a little sore as I type this now. But never mind, I’m sure when the stress is gone, I’ll be back in the pink of health soon! Let’s get on with our post today, shall we?

Every now and I feel like hitting myself for throwing out things I shouldn’t have (well, at that point, it was so therapeutic though). This is especially so since I am crazy about all things pre-loved and vintage now. And mind you, this vintage love is proving to stand the test of time. It’s not mere transient infatuation.

Recently, I picked up a children’s book with lovely vintage illustration. Don’t you luuurrvvvee vintage children’s books?! I certainly do! They don’t just speak of the happiness and innocence of childhood. These vintage ones also represent an era long gone. Maybe one of the reasons we love them so much is because they allow us to temporarily relive those years again.
