Paper Love - Imaginote

When I go gallivanting in town, I am real good at spotting a new stationery or paper shop. I’m not boasting but my eyes are like antennas which pick them up real fast! Usually, they do an overall scan on the place and when such a shop is detected, they zoom in on the “target”. Once this occurs, I become so focused on the target that the rest of the “noise” is simply disregarded.

I love paper, notebooks, journals etc. Currently, I have a book full of these. Some I have written in, but many others, I just admire their texture and beauty. At the risk of sounding obsessive, I’m telling you that I find this really satisfying! There has be people out there like me (c’mon you there, own up)!

I recently came across a range of notebooks called Imaginote designed by a Chinese company, Jiu Kou Shan. They have several types of notebooks that come with varied covers. You’ll have problems choosing just one favourite!

  1. Sometimes I can not write a thought or idea down because I don't feel like I have just the right book to jot it into. I saw a diary, I think of Nick Cave's, at an exhibition at the Museum of Australia, in Canberra. It was a wild collection of jumbled appointments, ideas, drawings, stuck in stuff. I wish, I wish, I wish I could be like that.

  5. I think I just had a glimpse of heaven! I'm obsessed over notebooks and journals too! I have a lot of blank ones some were gifts from friends who know me quite well (or have been given a lot of hints)while most of it I bought/made myself. These look great, I like the Qwerty journal best. Thanks for sharing :)

  6. i absolutely love the first one with the tree... simple notebooks are perfect. Enough blank space to clear your mind before writing, but a hint of image to inspire creativity!
