I love local Singaporean breakfast. A plate of chwee kueh, a plate of fried carrot cake to share between two. Wash it down with a glass of soy bean. I'm a happy girl! But there are other days when I crave western style breakfast.
Poached eggs and toasts were occupying my mind. It was on such a day that T and I headed to Toby's Estate for breakfast. So when my order for Eggs Royale appeared before me, I gleefully devoured it. The portion was just nice for me, the eggs were runny, they laid on a bed of not-too-salty salmon. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal.
I loved also the slightly industrial and loft feel of the space. The lamps suspended from the tall ceiling had my attention for a while.
We're likely to head back :)
have yet to try Toby's Estate, but I've heard good things about it :) was a fan of Kith in the area, but if I had the time, I'd visit their outlet in Park Mall instead (for the space).
ReplyDeleteHi M, their eggs royale is one of the better ones I've had in Sg
