Penang's Charms

I went on a very short trip to Penang last week. It was my first time there and I had fun! What struck me was how the architecture of the buildings and houses reflect Penang’s rich, interesting and diverse heritage. It was like history textbooks coming alive! Penang’s reminiscent of 1970s Singapore and I appreciated its laidback charm and folks seem to be friendlier too!

And of course, no trip to Penang is complete without sampling the cheap and absolutely yummy hawker food!
