Over the weekend, T and I got to stay over in one of the new boutique hotels in town! Studio M Hotel’s designs boasted contemporary chic but still manages to infuse a sense of tranquility. You feel this right at the beginning because the reception area that greets you is a white sculptural island with a chandelier floating above it.
I was excited since I’ve never stayed in a loft-style room and was curious to see how the small space is creatively employed.
I loved the high ceiling and full length windows! We had breakfast in the hotel the next morning and T simply can’t live without his cereals! It was fun and I generally like boutique hotels for their slant toward being design-centric. My only lament was that I was still having a flu and didn’t manage a dip in the hotel’s lap pool. How was your weekend?
OMG it's gorgeous! I would LOVE a weekend getaway here! Really cozy and relaxing! I hope you feel better soon from that flu bug. Have a lovely merry happy week and love to you!

ReplyDeletehi! i stumbled on your blog while researching this hotel... your blog is so cute! :) i'm going to be visiting singapore in a month, for 2 days, from texas. we were planning on staying here at Studio M... would you recommend it? and could you possibly give me a few ideas on what to do while we are there in singapore...? please... thank you :)
ReplyDeleteHi Farrah, I'm so sorry this is so delayed, I hope it's not too late. I've just returned from abroad. I couldn't find an email address to reach you so I hope you're checking this. If you're not into huge chain hotels, I think you'll love Studio M Hotel. It's not huge but I love that it's design-centric. It's lies just outside the heart of town with some cool watering holes just a step away. Nice chill out place! Drop me an email if you need more info, ok? :)
ReplyDeleteHi lovely photos, may I know which loft room is this for Studio M Hotel?
ReplyDeleteHi Stareyna, thanks for dropping by. It was either the Premiere Loft or Studio Loft. Sorry my memory's failing me!
