[Tokyo] - Daikanyama T-Site

So in my last post, you had an idea of where I went in Daikanyama. What you didn’t know was, I spent the bulk of my time in T-site. T-site houses several cafes/restaurants, the coolest pet-grooming shop I’ve ever seen, a Leica shop and Tsutaya.

The Tsutaya in T-site is AMAZING. I spent like 5 hours there (get how fantastic it is now?). You are free to browse books and magazines, sit down on a comfy chair, listen/loan CDs and LPs (!). 

There’s a beautiful chill out cafe within Tsutaya which we chose to rest out tired legs.

[Tokyo] - Daikanyama

Hello! I was in Tokyo abit the last week and despite the heat, I still had fun! I’m happy to share with you on it so we’ll be having a Tokyo series here on the blog :). I brought my camera along but took a lot photos with my iPhone. I hope you enjoy them nevertheless. And yes, it’s mostly a lot of cafe hopping and cute street sights. So first up, I’m taking you to Daikanyama with me!

The day I went to Daikanyama, it was REALLY warm. Thank goodness there were more than enough cafes for me to pop into for a respite.

Coffee van near the station. I heard this is almost like an institution over there. 

Eau Cafe with cozy european interior.

Haco Cafe. Near the station but hidden from all the hustle and bustle outside. Popped inside randomly for lunch and was happy with it! Now I know what to do with the lid after I pop my champagne.

New Plush! Dog with Goatee

Another preppy dog plush in the shop! This one sports a well-groomed goatee! I took extra care with the little details, all which are hand-stitched. I hope you like his little outfit. See more of him here.

New! Dog Plush - Preppy with Mustache

Hi folks, meet the new plush in my little shop! Dog Plush - Preppy with Mustache. This dog wears a vest with hand-stitched details, tartan plaid trousers and completes his look with a felt bow tie. He and his clothing are made with a mix of quality Japanese cotton linen as well cotton fabric. His facial features are hand embroidered, including his well-maintained goatee.

Art Work on Japan

Hello there, it’s July! I hope July goes slow. I can’t believe half a year has gone us by.

 Today, I’m in love with some beautiful beautiful art work depicting Japan, I see over at Brat Art Gallery. It’s hard to choose but my favourite will be those of simple everyday countryside Japan. That is the side of that has a special place in my memory.

[Melbourne] Out & About

Alrighty folks, I am wrapping up the Melbourne series with some out and about photos. 

Thank you for sticking around! I hope you’ve enjoyed these posts. 

I had best time during this trip-- tasted some of the yummiest food, visited some of the nicest cafes, met some of the friendliest people and bought some of the coolest items.

But my biggest takeaway would be the zest for life and space for creativity which I see in Melbourne.
