I Doodle

Hi lovelies! An old doodle of mine for you (click to enlarge).

It just became clearer to me that when we blog, doodle in our journals, store images in our Tumblr... what we’re trying to do is to document bits of ourselves and our lives. Then one day when we look back at all these, we will remember the persons we were, the events in our lives and the loves we had. I wonder if I would then be closer to becoming the person I want to be right now, or have taken a totally different path.

p/s It’s a public holiday over here tomorrow so I’ll see you back here next week. Have a wonderful weekend!

Dinner & a Tote

I made Japanese curry with meatballs and carrots for T’s dinner on Monday. Snappy and good. Heehee. I enjoy grocery shopping, cooking but DREAD the washing. Thankfully, T always does it willingly, while I get ready to settle on the couch (I’m a real couch potato!). Those of you who cook, do you hate the cleaning up too?

On a separate note, I still have one tote bag with me and have listed it in my little shop. Feel free to drop me an email should you have any queries!

I’ve been thinking and planning my crafty/sewing projects for the next couple of months. It should give me a goal of sort and a direction to work towards. Hopefully, I’ll stick to it :p! I tend to get inspired by random things I come across and feel like ditching what I’m working on at hand and dive into a totally new craft project. Anyone else facing the same thing? Surely I can’t be the only who seems to be interested in hand-making everything?

Cozy Cowls

Hi everyone, we’re welcoming a new week! And with the end of the summer hols, we’re all preparing for the coming of autumn (officially on 22 Sep). Chaucee wrote to me a little while ago on her new line of cowls which she recently launched in her Etsy shop, Taylor House. I thought this would be a great time to share it with you! Each cowl is hand knitted and machine-washable. I think it looks so cozy!

P/S Thanks for all your sweet comments on Miss E in the previous post!

My New Plushie

I had fun sewing a cushion/plushie this week! It was great having the experience of transferring the idea from my mind to paper, and then finally seeing the actual completed thing before my eyes. I decided almost immediately to name it “Miss E”. No particular reason, I just thought she looks like a Miss E. Haha!

Wondering if I should make clones or siblings of Miss E for my Etsy shop...

Lovely Papermash

Ahh, stationery love... a love that began since I was a little girl. I may not always know what I want to use them for when I buy them, but it makes me happy just seeing them sitting pretty on my desk! Besides, one never knows when one will need them, right?

These from Papermash are simply beautiful!

Swoon...

Bed Linen Love

Happy mid week, lovelies! If you share my love for bed linens, you’ll like today’s post! Ikea is without a doubt guilty for igniting my passion for bed linens. I laid eyes on their catalogue one day many years ago and my life changed. I went up to my mum and said that I was going to get proper sheets and linens. Of course my taste and preferences have shifted over the years but the love for bed linens never wavered.

Today, I’m sharing some really pretty bed linens I’m seeing. If I had beds like these, it’s gonna take alot more to get me out of bed! :p

Especially love the brightly coloured quilted ones!

Celebrating Yumminess - Celine S

If you follow me on Twitter, you would know that I’ve been stuffing myself with food since my return from my trip to China. I can’t help it! I miss all my usual comfort food (ok, maybe it’s more chronic than that since I’ve been home for more than a week now). T says I’ve turned into an eating machine. Maybe he’s worried I would eat a hole in his pocket ;P.

Guess what? When I’m not actually eating, I’m ogling at food images. Haha! Totally in love with the gorgeous food photography from Celine S right now. *drool*
